Frank Theodore Kunst

Mass of Christian Burial for Frank Kunst, age 87, of Milaca, will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church in Foreston with Fr. Jim Remmerswaal, OSC officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Music will be provided by Ed Bauer and the church choir. Casketbearers will include Mike Kunst, Dennis Kunst, Doug Kunst, Harold Bauer, Zach Bauer and Tom Krauel. Frank Theodore Kunst was born February 18, 1925 at home near Foreston to Frank and Ida (Santema) Kunst. He grew up on the farm and attended Sunnyside School. He lived on the farm and enjoyed helping his mother with chores and taking care of the large garden. Every two weeks his family would bring him to Milaca to buy groceries. They would also go for a car ride and have cookies and coffee. He also loved playing cards and putting together puzzles and the Milaca Elim Home, where he has lived since 2006. He passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012. He is survived by brothers, Tony (Mary) Kunst of Ogilvie and Henry (Shirley) Kunst of Cambridge; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill, Bernard and Bob and sisters, Mary Kreger and Margaret Bauer.
